A very special guest

If you have been to our Classic Car Show over the last two years, you'll know that Brooklands Museum Trust have brought with them some pretty special guests.

We're very excited to announce that this year Captain Mike Bannister, Concorde pilot extraordinaire will be assisting with the Brooklands display in the arena and will be on their stand promoting Brooklands' Concorde Experience and meeting visitors to the show.

Mike was the youngest pilot to join the Concorde flight crew in 1977 and flew over 9,200 hours with some 7,000 hours at supersonic speeds. Mike was Chief Pilot of the British Airways' Concorde Fleet from 1995 until the last commercial Concorde flight, between New York and London on 24 October 2003, which was commanded by Mike.

The Cranleigh Lions are very grateful to Mike for making time in his hectic schedule to be at our Classic Car Show, he's clearly a man that didn't retire with Concorde!

Classic car registration

The fantastic weather over the last couple of weeks has brought in a flurry of registrations. Registration is free and gives entry for the vehicle, driver and one passenger. Additional passengers cost £6 each.

Individual registration can be made at https://cranleighlions.carshowregistration.co.uk and will stay open until 17th August or until the showground is free, which in previous years has been around two week before the show. If you do intend bringing your classic vehicle please register soon to avoid disappointment.

Missing Tickets

If you register your vehicle online you will automatically be sent an email with a link to a PDF ticket. Sometimes the email gets caught in a spam filter and doesn't arrive.

Your ticket should arrive with two hours of registering and if it doesn't, or you have problems opening or printing the ticket, please contact us at classicregistration@cranleighlions.org and please include your ticket number if known (you'll see this immediately after registering) or your vehicle registration number. We'll send you the email again and if that fails we'll post it to you.

We will follow up on your ticket enquiry, although it might take up to 7 days to reply. Please note we are unable to respond to ticket enquiries after the 13 August as we're busy preparing for the show.
