Weather looking good!

Our favourite weather forecast website, www.theweatheroutlook.com shows the weather leading up to the 18th August as being excellent. If this continues into the weekend then we should expect mid 20° C and light winds. Perfect classic car viewing weather!

Cranleigh Fire Service display

After a break of a couple of years, our friends at the Cranleigh Fire Service and St John Ambulance will be putting on a demonstration in the arena at 12 noon (subject to availability), rescuing a trapped driver from their car.

The display is well worth seeing and demonstrates how these organisations save lives every day of the year. The Cranleigh Lions will be drawing straws to see who will play the part of the unfortunate motorist.

Local road closure

We have been advised that the B2127 Bookhurst Road in Cranleigh will be closed to the east of Cranleigh Showground, between the Showground and Ewhurst on the 18th August for road works.

There is full access to the Showground from Cranleigh, if you were planning to drive to our car show via Ewhurst then there will be a diversion in place.

We have full details and alternate route information on our website at www.cranleighlions.org/classic-car-show-diversion.php

Classic car registration

There are a few spaces left for individuals wishing to show their classic vehicle.

Individual registration can be made at https://cranleighlions.carshowregistration.co.uk and will stay open until 17th August or until the showground is full, which in previous years has been around two weeks before the show. If you do intend bringing your classic vehicle please register very soon to avoid disappointment.

Missing Tickets

If you register your vehicle online you will automatically be sent an email with a link to a PDF ticket. Sometimes the email gets caught in a spam filter and doesn't arrive.

Your ticket should arrive with two hours of registering and if it doesn't, or you have problems opening or printing the ticket, please contact us at classicregistration@cranleighlions.org and please include your ticket number if known (you'll see this immediately after registering) or your vehicle registration number. We'll send you the email again and if that fails make other arrangements for entry.

We will follow up on your ticket enquiry, and please note, due to holidays, any enquiries between the 1st and 11th of August will be answered on or after 12th August. Please note we are unable to guarantee a response to ticket enquiries sent after the 15th August as we're busy preparing for the show.
