By Matt Hardigree Woman claims she was groped by Carroll Shelby; raped at his homeFormer Carroll Shelby employee Angelica Smith filed a lawsuit today in L.A. County Superior Court alleging she was groped by the automotive legend, forced to bring him pornography, raped by another employee at his home, and finally fired by Shelby for complaining about the assault according to TMZ. UPDATE. Documents for the case aren't currently online, but in their report TMZ lists off a long series of complaints from Smith (not pictured) about her time as a receptionist for Carroll Shelby, the 88-year-old behind the Shelby Cobra and numerous Shelby Mustangs. Initially, according to the woman, it started off with him making her pick up his groceries and pornography and, eventually leading to a groping by Shelby himself. The hostile working environment reached its low point, according to the woman, when Smith says she was drugged and raped by another employee of the company at Shelby's home and then fired after she reported the rape to Shelby. She's now suing Shelby and his companies for $5 million in damages. At stake could be the Shelby name, which his company fights hard (and frequently litigates) to protect. Ford currently calls their most powerful and expensive Mustang model the "Shelby GT500" after the legendary Mustang tuner. There are also at least two movies in various stages of production about Shelby's life and experience at Le Mans. UPDATE: Carroll Shelby''s attorney released the following statement to Jalopnik:
