By Justin Hyde The McCar is a "magical" Chinese TransformerOver in Shanghai, Volvo's Chinese parent Geely trundled out the McCar concept, which it says can transform for a variety of driving needs and could go into production. The Mc stands for "magic." Let's not get ahead of ourselves. The McCar seats four, along with a three-wheel electric rideabout. The space where the trike resides can fit a wheelchair, and the vehicle itself draws power from a hybrid-electric system powering all four wheels. Geely executives say the McCar took two years to develop and carries 60 patented ideas, but a vehicle-in-vehicle concept has been around at least since Soundwave and Buzzsaw from the original "Transformers."
