 The scale creations on display at the Military Miniatures Society of Illinois show always amaze, and the 48th annual event held Friday and Saturday, Oct. 20-21, 2023, was no exception. Hundreds of beautifully painted figures depicting ancient history to the modern era, along with fantasy and sci-fi subjects, were joined by sharply finished vehicles and creative dioramas at the Chicago Marriott in Schaumburg, Illinois.
