The Chicago Marriott in Schaumburg, Illinois, once again played host to the 47th annual Military Miniature Society of Illinois contest on Saturday, October 22. As always, hundreds of beautifully painted historical miniatures—from the Middle Ages to the modern era—dioramas, and scale model vehicles loaded the tables. The sci-fi and fantasy offerings continued to astound, too. Take a look at the gallery below for a taste of the artistry on display.
