Sorry, the 2021 Cranleigh Lions Classic Car Show is cancelled

It is with great reluctance that we have decided to cancel the 2021
Cranleigh Lions Classic Car Show, which was due to be held on Sunday 1 August.

The Car Show committee has been working for many months to find a way to hold
a Covid compliant and safe event and the time it takes to organise the show
means we had to make the decision now.

Having considered the restrictions and regulations that are likely to apply
to large events this summer, the committee have reluctantly decided that it
will not be viable to run the event this year.

The show is run by a small group of volunteers and it was felt that we may
not have the means to safeguard the car owners and public this year
under the likely Government regulations.

Therefore, we will now start our planning of the 2022 event and we hope you
will continue to support our car show in the future.

In the meantime, please watch this space and we will provide a 2022 date ASAP.

Thank you for your continued support of the Cranleigh Lions and our Classic
Car Show, we are looking forward to seeing you in 2022.
