The Jagdpanther Ausf. G1 was an early version of the Jagdpanther. Based on the panther tank chassis, it proved to be a very unpleasant surprise to the Allied forces that encountered it. Meng has reproduced the Jagdpanther in incredible detail. While not for the faint of heart it has been extensively researched saving the modeler some time in the decision making process. The kit even incudes a metal barrel for those that don’t care for fixing seam lines. It’s a wonderful addition to any WWII tank destroyer fan’s collection.
