At last the weather has turned for the better and stayed that way for at least a week, which
means it is time to start planning classic car shows for the summer.

Our 17th annual Classic Car Show & Autojumble is on Sunday 12th August 2018 at the
Cranleigh Showground and we hope you can join us.

Registration for individuals and clubs is now open, which you can find at
www.cranleighlions.org/classiccarshow. Registration costs £5 and covers your vehicle, driver
and one passenger. Additional passenger tickets can be purchased at the point of
registration for the discounted price of £5 each or £8 on the day.

This year we have decided to have a Pride of Ownership section and there are a few places left.
There are two categories still available at the time of writing, Everyday Driver, for vehicles
driven nearly every day and Modified Classic, as long as it's 20 years old anything goes.
Each category will have a prize, voted for by the general public and there will be a Best in Show
across the three categories, which we are hoping to have judged by a special guest.

If you would like to enter and there is space, complete the Pride of Ownership section on the
registration page. If you can't see the section, sorry, we're full up!

When you register you'll notice a section for car details and a to upload a photograph. We're
planning an online show guide, which will give a bit of insight to your vehicle to the general
public. No personal details will be shown, just the ticket number, make and model of your
vehicle plus the details and photo you supply.

Lastly a request for car club members. Please make sure you register, with your club code,
before 1st July 2018. After this date we cannot accept any further club registrations as we
need to layout the showground and issue zone number to car clubs and members.

If you forget to enter your club code please send us an email at carshow@cranleighlions.org
before 1st July 2018 with your ticket number and club code and we will change your details
so that you can be parked with your fellow club members.

remember that the Cranleigh Lions is a voluntary club and it make take a few days to reply.
