Classic Car Show Information 13th August 2017

There's a week to go before our Classic Car Show & Autojumble and the
good news is, according to theweatheroutlook.com, the weather is looking
good for Sunday 13th August, dry and not too hot, perfect classic car
viewing weather.

Some not so good news though. There are long term roadworks in
Cranleigh High Street with 4-way traffic lights. If you are coming
from the Guildford or Godalming direction, there is an alternative
route that avoids Cranleigh High Street.

The route is available on our website at
www.cranleighlions.org/classic-car-show-diversion.php Please note
the route uses narrow roads so is only suitable for cars and small
vans.

We have an exciting day lined up for you, over 1,000 vehicles of all
shapes and sizes have registered, plus we have autojumble and trade
stands. There are attractions for the kids, food, drink and our
resident band playing from 11am.

There's a packed arena schedule, including displays from Brooklands
Museum and Cranleigh Fire Service. TV presenter & Cranleigh Lion
Mark Evans with classic car enthusiast & Cranleigh Lion Nigel West
will be hosting the arena and have promised not to go on too much
about their respective classics; a Land Rover 90 and a 1992 Mini.

Parking at the showground is free and entry is just £8, under 16s
are free. The show starts at 9:30.

Cranleigh Showground is on the B2127 between Cranleigh and Ewhurst,
nearest post code is GU6 7DW. There are local signposts to guide
you in the last few miles and don't forget the roadworks in
Cranleigh High Street.
