BETTER WHEEL OPENINGS: When modifying a body, there are times when wheel openings need to be moved up or down for a correct look. Instead of making the end cuts straight-up-and-down, where several shims will be needed to fill the gaps, angle the end cuts as shown in the drawing. With this method, little or no filler is required when moving the opening up, and just one filler piece is needed when moving the opening downward. This works great for customs and lowered and sectioned car bodies. | | | Build better models by learning useful tips and techniques from other builders.
