The 2016 Cranleigh Lions Classic Car Show

We're pleased to announce that registration is open for individuals and clubs for our Classic Car Show & Autojumble on Sunday 14th August 2016.

Individual registration allows one classic vehicle, the driver and one passenger into the show free of charge. Additional passengers 16 years and over cost £7 each.

We will also have our show guide, which we revamped last year to include information about the show and articles about classic vehicles. At £4 it's a great read on the day or after.

As in previous years we ask that classic vehicles are at least 20 years old. If you have a vehicle that you think should be at the show, maybe it's a supercar or a very limited edition model, then drop us an email at carshow@cranleighlions.org and tell us why you think your vehicle should be on display.

Club registration closes on 30 June 2016, after which we start to plan where the clubs will go on the showground.

If you've been to the show before you'll know we have arena events running throughout the day. Displaying in the arena is very laid back, a bit of fun and makes the show a success, which means we can help individuals, families and charitable organisations that need out support. If you would like to show off your vehicle in the arena please tick the box on the registration form and add some information about your vehicle. We can't show all of the vehicles in the arena and if yours is chosen we will be in touch before the show.

Last year's show raised £29,000 can we beat it this year?

Can You Support Cranleigh Lions Before the Classic Car Show?

Our classic car show is a phenomenal success, both as a show and a fund-raising event for the Cranleigh Lions. The money raised means we can support individuals, families and charitable organisations (such as the nominated charities for the show) that need our help throughout the next 12 months. As with all Lions clubs around the world, our members give their time freely to organise the classic car show and other events during the year.

The show is more expensive to put on each year and a large proportion of this cost has to be paid out before the day. This means in the months leading up to the show, we have to make some difficult decisions about who we can help to ensure we have sufficient money to pay the bills.

A large part of the car show's success is due to the diverse range of classic vehicles that attend during the day and to attract a large number of classics we have free registration again this year.

We know that classic car drivers are a generous bunch and dig deep on the day of the show, nevertheless would you consider making a donation now, so we have a bit more money early on to support the people we need to help?
