The Cranleigh & District Lions Club Classic Car Show & Autojumble Newsletter In this issue: Are You Contemplating Buying a Classic Vehicle? Missing tickets Are You Contemplating Buying a Classic Vehicle? If you have not owned a classic vehicle before and are contemplating buying one, we would like to hear from you! This year in the arena we're going to try our hand at Automotive Blind Date, where we match the desires of yet to be classic owners with the experience of people who have owned their vehicle for years. It's an opportunity for you to ask questions about buying, running and maintaining your dream vehicle. This is just a bit of fun though and we don't expect money or vehicles to change hands! We're looking for eight people that fulfil the following criteria: You've not owned a classic vehicle before, you're considering buying a classic vehicle and have a make and model in mind Planning to be at the show on Sunday 17th August 2014 Happy to talk on the PA in the arena at around 3pm If you would like to get involved, please email arenablinddate@cranleighlions.org and include: Your name and the village, town or city you live in The make and model of the vehicle you are considering and the year (or years) if you've decided on this Any background for your choice, however unusual An evening contact number, if we're able to match you with a vehicle we'll call to let you know and confirm details for the day Missing tickets If you register your vehicle online you will automatically be sent an email with a link to a PDF ticket. Sometimes the email gets caught in a spam filter and doesn't arrive. Your ticket should arrive with two hours of registering and if it doesn't, or you have problems opening or printing the ticket, please contact us at classicregistration@cranleighlions.org and please include your ticket number if known (you'll see this immediately after registering) or your vehicle registration number. We'll send you the email again and if that fails we'll post it to you. We will follow up on your ticket enquiry, although it might take up to 7 days to reply. Please note we are unable to respond to ticket enquiries after the 10th August as we're busy preparing for the show.
