2014 Show date & times Our Classic Car Show & Autojumble will be on Sunday 17th August 2014 from 9.30am to 4.30pm at its usual venue of the Cranleigh Showground. If you've not been before, we normally have around 1,800 classic vehicles of all shapes and sizes, arena events, trade and craft stands, autojumble, food and drink, jazz band and attractions for the children. It's a good day out for all the family and at £6 with under 16s free, exceptional value. All proceeds are used by the Cranleigh Lions to help individuals, families and charitable organisations that need support. This year some of the proceeds from the car show will support local charities Oakleaf, Cranleigh Riding for the Disabled, Rowleys 50+ Centre and TALK. We're delighted that Brooklands Museum Trust will be returning with a larger stand, more vehicles and two trips to the arena. Classic car and club registration Registration for individual vehicles and clubs is now open. You will need to be able to print your ticket and bring it with you on the day. Registration will gain free entry for the vehicle, driver and one passenger. Additional passengers 16 years and older cost £6 each. Club registration is open until 1st July 2014, so that we can allocate space and inform the clubs of their location as soon as possible. Individual registration will be open until we reach maximum capacity on the showground, which in previous years has been around two week before the show. If you do intend bringing your classic vehicle please register soon to avoid disappointment. Individual registration can be made at https://cranleighlions.carshowregistration.co.uk. Missing tickets If you register your vehicle online you will automatically be sent an email with a link to a PDF ticket. Sometimes the email gets caught in a spam filter and doesn't arrive. Your ticket should arrive with two hours of registering and if it doesn't, or you have problems opening or printing the ticket, please contact us at classicregistration@cranleighlions.org and please include your ticket number if known (you'll see this immediately after registering) or your vehicle registration number. We'll send you the email again and if that fails we'll post it to you. We will follow up on your ticket enquiry, although it might take up to 7 days to reply. Please note we are unable to respond to ticket enquiries after the 10th August as we're busy preparing for the show. Other Lions classic car events We're not the only Lions club to run classic car events and we've been contacted by Adur East Lions Club in West Sussex about their Classic Vehicle Rally and Donkey Derby on Sunday 8th June 2014 from 11am at Buckingham Park, Shoreham (post code BN43 6BO). If you fancy showing your classic vehicle, please contact Chris Robinson on secretary@adureastlions.org.uk and he will be able to give you full details.
